    • 3D Printing and Product Design

What if you could turn your ideas into reality? That's exactly what you'll be doing today! 3D Printing is an entirely new way to create physical objects by adding material instead of subtracting it. This means you can create complex objects with very little waste and energy. Check out a few 3D printed projects below and click the button below to get started!

    • Your First Design

Today you'll be designing your own necklace. Once you finish the design, you'll email the file to us and we'll 3D Print it for you!

    • Congratulations, you did it!

Now it's time to send us your .STL file

    • Sending a Professional Email

Learning how to send a professional email is a super important skill and will set you apart from your peers. It all starts off with a professional sounding email address - try to avoid a lot of numbers or goofy sounding names, stick to your first and last name when choosing your email address. Make sure you use proper english with no misspellings and add a detailed subject in the subject line. Start off with the persons title and end with 'Thank You' or 'Best Regards'. Make sure the file/attachement is ready to go before sending!

For this email, send you .STL file to michael@dexterlearning.com

    • The Building Blocks of Structures

A structural element that primarily resists loads applied laterally to the beam's axis. Its mode of deflection is primarily by bending. The loads applied to the beam result in reaction forces at the beam's support points.

structure that "consists of two-force members only, where the members are organized so that the assemblage as a whole behaves as a single object"

A structural element that transmits, through compression, the weight of the structure above to other structural elements below. In other words, a column is a compression member.
